Convicted of... what now?

As stated earlier, my sub- conscious mind seems to be pretty convinced of an alternate life in a parallel universe. In this dream, not only did the dual life exist, but everyone was aware of it.

It started the same way- me lying on the grass, staring at the sky. The stars aligned themselves to form a map of our world. Now, as people knew about their dual lives, they also knew that we traveled between the worlds via wormholes. The wormholes were like teleportation devices but worked between universes and fast.

So, today there were some technical glitches with wormholes (they were unstable for the science freak in you) and we had to travel the old way- you know in movies when the spaceship wants to pick someone up, they fire a light beam and the person/ thing floats upwards in the spaceship. Except here the destination was a place in the other universe and instead of a light beam, a translucent tunnel opened up. The difference in technology was equivalent to floppy disks and 4-G enabled smartphones.

Anyways, the place I reached was a modern- day Pakistan. The difference between the 2 universes was that- in this one India is the largest secular democracy and in the other universe it was Pakistan. I was part of a dance group (yay! I love dancing in both worlds). We were dancing with swords and each girl in the group had a 7-8 year old child for a dance partner (umm... wonder who the choreographer was).

It so happens that my dance partner was accidentally hurt by the sword (I guess, I didn't see that part) and I was blamed (bummer!) and put under arrest. The news and tabloids were scandalizing this and I was accused of SLOW DANCING. Yeah! Slow dancing. My argument was that a slow dancer is a safe dancer and that I cannot be answerable for the mishap.

When the court summoned me, I presented my case and the judge told me, "You astronauts need to be accountable." (because everyone travels between worlds, everyone is an astronaut). And then he told me something that was the highlight of the whole dream-

"Every astronaut is blessed by 3 Gods. He carries the legends of his father, the responsibilities of his son and the screenshot of his lover in his heart."

Here, the 3 Gods were supposed to signify 3 planets (I am not sure which).

I can't make head or tail of that statement but it is heavy-duty!
