The shape-shifting black sparrow

There was a black sparrow perched atop a building a couple of miles away. It looked as big as my palm. No, the black sparrow was not a giant one. It seemed no matter from how far you look at it, it would always appear the size of one's palm. Clearly, the black sparrow was a being capable of traversing in many dimensions and the known laws of time and space didn't apply to it.

I watched from afar as the black sparrow flew down to attack or perhaps try to eat the alley cat near my house. The cat crouched in fear as the black sparrow now turned into a menacing and even bigger black turkey. Now, I could only see the flagrant behind of the black turkey but after sometime when the black turkey turned, the cat was gone.

As the black turkey turned, it saw me witness the ghastly event and started to give chase. I ran and ran, as I have never been able to do in real life, but how do you outrun a creature of multiple dimensions? Just as I was beginning to lose the race, some lavender beings shaped like angels carried me to the white court in the clouds.

Everything was white and fluffy as far as the eyes could see. The lavender angels gently placed me on a cloud and huddled in their group on the right. On the left, similar angels but in sky blue were grouped and waiting for the judge to arrive. One white angel was near the fluffy white judge's chair. Following me, the black turkey, now turned into a black angel, arrived giving everyone looks of grave malice.

It was not just me who was in danger from the black angel. All the others seemed to fear it too, except the white angel who just seemed very calm. However, being in the cloud court gave me and the others some comfort in the hope that justice will be done.

What was taking the judge so long anyway? I didn't even know who could be presiding over such matters. The black angel saw its chance to remove traces of at least a few of its crimes until the judge came. It couldn't move the lavender or sky blue angels, there were too many of them. That only left me. With an ominous grin, the black angel- the only one capable of travelling in multi dimensions as it turns out, pushed me down through the gap in the clouds.
