Earth's climate is changing (like you haven't noticed that already)! Given the various factors (actual and the ones in Hollywood films)- the magnetic pole shift, the greenhouse effect, ozone layer depletion, tectonic plate movement and various other natural disasters- the climate itself is migrating south. Err, I mean, summer starts in July, monsoons come in October and March is the coldest month now. Also, owing to the above elements, the weather is harsher. Cold weather is colder and hot is hotter. We are experiencing winter. And it has started snowing near the equators. I am not very well prepared for the frosty days. Snow has engulfed half the city and transportation has come to a halt. Why was I out on the streets, I will never know. Maybe forage for food? Anyway, I meet my long lost lover (I don't recognize in real life but well). As stated earlier, my sub- conscious mind seems to be pretty convinced of an alternate life in a  parallel universe . In this dream, not only did the dual life exist, but everyone was aware of it. It started the same way- me lying on the grass, staring at the sky. The stars aligned themselves to form a map of our world. Now, as people knew about their dual lives, they also knew that we traveled between the worlds via  wormholes . The wormholes were like teleportation devices but worked between universes and fast. So, today there were some technical glitches with wormholes (they were unstable for the science freak in you) and we had to travel the old way- you know in movies when the spaceship wants to pick someone up, they fire a light beam and the person/ thing floats upwards in the spaceship. Except here the destination was a place in the other universe and instead of a light beam, a translucent tunnel opened up. The difference in technology was equivalent to floppy...

I have a theory- I think when we sleep, we transport to the other world and carry on with our dual lives there. Which is probably why most of the time, we do not remember our dreams. Kind of like 'Avatar' but more discreet. I, for the most part, remember my dreams. Sometimes, they are so vivid- it is like watching a soap opera. I try to keep an account of my dreams and see if they mean anything or serve as a fore warning. Which also brings me to the point that I have a few recurring dreams/ nighmares. Let me list them down: 1. The winding roads - From the ages of 8- 18, I had this repeated dream where I would see an off- beat path from my school trail that led to a gated community which had a few wooden houses (Andamans still has wooden houses, back then there were many.
